In terms of astrological and cultural significance, Lunar New Year is often considered more "powerful" than other new moons because it marks the start of a new lunar cycle and is a major celebration across many Asian cultures, signifying a fresh beginning and a time for renewal and prosperity; essentially amplifying the inherent energy of a new moon itself.
The Horse in the Chinese zodiac (7th in the 12-year cycle) represents energy, freedom, speed, and success, embodying a spirited, independent, and hardworking nature. Often associated with travel and adventure, those born under this sign (1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014, 2026) are typically energetic, charismatic, and social, though sometimes prone to restlessness and impulsiveness.
